Intuition

Intuition or also called the gut feeling. Sometimes it is also called a hunch. Following up on a gut feeling tells the truth, more than knowing the truth and trying to figure out if it is true. Checking on what you believe in is what many of a people do if they do not trust in themselves. Trusting in you is something we should do at least 90 % of a time if we really want to grow. Offcourse following up on Intuition can be greatly helpful when you try to find out what the bigger picture looks like. It does not mean to distrust ourselves when we check up on a hunch.

Let´s look at the hunch in a different perspective. We get a hunch and the first thing that might just happen, is the point of saying to ourselves that we can not do it. Then we ask ourselves why. Then we ask ourselves why not. Then we find a means of doing it. Then we find a reason for not doing it and the cycle goes on and on and on. This is not a productive state to reside in. My personal view and in my experience has shown that there is a simpler way of doing it. As Richard Branson lovely book title states,” Screw it just do it!” Now there is a point that he mentions in his book and it is a point that we should highly consider. Step 1: Get a Idea, Step2 : Grasp the Idea, Step 3: Check up on the Idea, Step 4 : Get into action, Step 5: Check up on the Idea again, Step 6 : If it does not work, try something else until it works. Now look at this brilliant concept. See the difference in the ways of thinking ?

Intuition is something that feels right. It is something that we learn over time and something that we figure out over time. It can be set to be feared and mistrusted over time. A lovely and powerful feeling gets the action off being feared. Think about that. Why should you not your innermost action of truth ? In my experience it is because we where taught to not trust hunches most of the time. Why? Because we where taught to see the bigger picture with glasses. Just like when you wake up after falling in love with a person and notice after 6 months that you lied to yourselves just to keep the same glasses on, eventhough you knew it was not right. If you would have followed up on the hunch you got, you might have just met the person who really likes you and not the person who you thought you liked. A hunch can get you pretty far, HMMM !

Now these are just short and bunched perspectives that I have. Is my perspective right for everyone ? Well if it feels right to you, thin it might just be right. If it does not feel right to you , then it might just not be right. Whatever you are doing though,”You are following up on a Hunch.”  You are following up on Intuition.

Can we relearn Intuition again ? Yes with the right training and believes we can trust ourselves again.
